Step-by-step instructions for Save Change Piecemarks :

The following instructions assume that you are using a 3-button mouse.

1 . To invoke Save Change Piecemarks , do one (1) of the following:

Method 1 : Click the Save Change Piecemarks icon. The icon can be taken from the group named ' File ' and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).

Method 2 : If " Drawing Editor layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose File > Save Change Piecemarks .

Method 3, 4 or 5 : Save Change Piecemarks can also be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the ' Lightning ' layout style, configuration of the interface is done using Customize Interface .

2 . The Change Marks dialog opens, and the first detail that was placed on the sheet is highlighted in the color green . If there is a bill of material on the sheet, the highlighted detail's data is highlighted in the bill of material.

Piecemark: The piecemark of the highlighted detail is shown. You can type in a new piecemark (up to 61 characters) and press " OK " to change the mark. Or you can press " Skip Mark " or " Abort All ."

"Skip Mark" selects the next piecemark in order of sheet placement to be shown in the " Piecemark " field. If there is no next piecemark, the Change Marks dialog closes.

"Abort All" closes the Change Marks dialog and undoes any changes that you have made to piecemarks. Note that even if you made a new entry to " Piecemark __ ", the affected detail's piecemark does not change.

"OK" applies the " Piecemark __ " that is entered. The next piecemark in the order of sheet placement is then listed in the " Piecemark " field and its detail is highlighted on the sheet. Once the last piecemark has been listed, the Change Marks dialog closes, and all piecemarks are updated throughout your current Job.

3 . All changes made to your current sheet since your last save, including any changes made in the previous steps, are saved to disk unless you pressed " Abort All " -- then only non piecemark changes are saved.
